Pomegranate is a good source of various vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, C and E, which are known to boost longevity. Also, this fruit has anti-viral and anti-tumour properties, which can prove to be quite useful when it comes to living a long life. In a study published in the journal ‘Nature Medicine’, it was revealed that pomegranates have a molecule called mitochondria, degradation of which can lead to weakness of muscles.
