We see models on the ramp with those long, oh-so-desirable legs and can’t stop feeling miserable about ourselves.
Of course there are many who are happy in their own skin and don’t care about the looks, but it’s a universal truth that every woman desires long legs. So here are a few things for you to keep in mind if you want to fake long legs.
Nude shoes
You can fake fabulous legs and make them look six inches longer by wearing nude-coloured heels.
1x1 polls
Remember to pick one that is closest to your skin tone. Nude heels trick the eye into seeing the shoe as part of the leg.
It’s is not only about the colour of the shoe, style also affects how long your legs look. Avoid ankle-straps and T-bar shoes which will cut your legs at the ankle and make them look short.
Flare dress
A dress with some flare that has a flirty swing to it is perfect to fake longer legs. What it does is makes you legs appear to start from the waist. Also, go for a dress that has a belt or an appearance of a belt just below the bust. It divides your top and bottom halves making the top half look shorter than the bottom half.

Hide the knees
Go for a dress in soft, clingy, stretchy material that will hug your body and give a smooth long line. Remember to pick one that stops just below your knees. Because you cant see the knees, it gives the illusion that they could be higher than they actually are. Remember that the hem shouldn’t fall too low, lest you want to look like a granny.
Matching-matching
While opting for trousers, match your shoe colour to your trousers. It makes the eye travel from the top of your leg to the floor, giving the impression that the waistline is higher than it actually is. Also, go for a slim, tapered leg pants; a boot-cut or even slight flare will make your legs look shorter.
