Fairytale comes alive

Celebrated Delhi-based designer duo Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor presented their festive collection consisting of a bridal collection and a luxe prêt line for the contemporary woman in Bandra, recently.
The preview organised by Sharmilla Khanna and Bhavana Pandey was a blend of the authentic Mughal era with sophisticated Victorian sensibility — apt for the modern bride.And those who watched the romantic fairytale-like fashion soiree unfurl, were Pooja Batra, Malaika Arora Khan, Kirron Kher, Dolly Sidhwani, Suchitra Krishnamoorthi, Anita Raj, Anna Singh, Satish Shah, Maheep Kapoor, Madhoo Shah, Tisca Chopra, Jeanne Salim Merchant, Prerna Goel, Ramona, Rukshana Eisa, Lali Dhawan, Namrata Baruah Shroff, Kaykasshan Patel, Tisca Chopra, Bhagyashree, Yasmin Karachiwala, among others. Jewellery by Queenie complemented the designers festive collection.
The ladies mingled over cheery cocktails and canapés and discussed the luxury looks en vogue with the hot favourites being the magnificent bejewelled evening dresses on display. Anjalee and Arjun Kapoor’s collection will be at their flagship Juhu store.
