A special show

This was a fashion show that left all the guests misty eyed.
As models walked down the ramp accompanied by children with special needs, one could not help but feel proud for the kids. As the children smiled and blew kisses at the audience, they broke into a loud applause.
All for a cause: The show hosted by Shyama Chona, showcased the collections by Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Abhishek Gupta and Nandita Basu, Namrata Joshipura and Rajesh Pratap Singh.Shyama said, ���The aim of the show was to provide a platform to these special children to share the stage and limelight with the models and show to the world that they too can participate in all walks of life.��� Arvinder Singh Lovely, Delhi���s education minister, was the chief guest.
Parental Instincts: Parents sitting among the audience were touched by the initiative and were all praise for the show. Rajesh Pratap���s wife, Payal, said, ���As a mother, I could feel the excitement of the kids and parents at the show. My eyes welled up when I saw them blowing kisses at the audience.���
I���m lovin��� it: Nayanika Chatterjee seemed happy on the stage and when we caught up with her backstage after the show, she said, ���This has been the most satisfying show of my career till now. At first, I was nervous but the excitement of the children was an eye-opener for all of us here,��� and added with a smile, ���This was their special moment. The attention and appreciation was for them and not for the models and I loved it.���
Kuchh music ho jaye: The show also included a performance by singer Diwakar of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Little Champs fame. He enthralled the crowd with songs like Koi Kahe, Kehta Rahe, and many more. He also thanked everyone for taking out time for them (the children) and supporting the cause.
