Nike chairman Phil Knight took the ‘Just Do It’ slogan of the brand way too seriously, as he is the owner of a Rs 600 crore jet, which stands in an impressive private hangar at the Hillsboro Airport in Oregon. Well, looking at all the crazy stuff the sportswear giant does, this slogan may be more than just an empty slogan.
Phil Knight is also the co-founder of the brand and planned for this private space all the way back in 2014. He spent around $7.6 million, i.e., around Rs 70 crore, on a 29,000-square-foot piece of land, which in today’s day houses his new Gulfstream G650 jet. But this is not like any other private flyer, as it has the brand’s official logo.

It was earlier parked at Nike Inc.’s adjacent corporate jet hangar, where the company’s executives had access to it, along with the other two Nike-owned jets. The 45th wealthiest man in the world, who has a fortune of more than $19.2 billion, is known to have a big heart, as he also allows his company employees to hitch a ride on his private jet from time to time.

Well, surely this piece is worth showing off, but the Knights are far from it.

The self-made billionaire and his wife, Penny, never show ofg this giant possession but are known for their charitable work at academic institutions. While technically for personal use, the hangar and the jet are a testament to the scale of the empire he has built globally.
But it’s not the only plane the company has. Well, this might be for private use, but Nike owns another Gulfstream G650 named Rare Air, which has a 7,000-mile range, a N72NC Gulfstream G650 named Nike’s Air Force, and a N3546 Gulfstream GV.
