Diamond studs, chains, and championship glory

The Indian cricket team recently made history, lifting the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 trophy. They celebrated in sporting glory but not without unmistakable style. Under the flashlights, fans noticed something beyond the scoreboard: some Indian players were flaunting dazzling jewellery during their triumph. These modern-day cricketers surely know how to dress up in style and are keen enough to bring fashion to the cricket ground. Celebrating victory in style, here are some Indian players who flashed their subtle diamond studs and chains, rewriting the lines of fashion.

Abhishek Sharma

The leading Gen-Z style icon of the team, Abhishek Sharma’s performance didn’t quite hit the mark this season, but he didn’t let his styling charm get in the way. Developing a recognisable off-field and on-field signature style with his sleek diamond tennis necklace. His sparkling diamond necklace features forty-eight cushion-shaped diamonds, which are fifty cents each, set in forty-two grams of 18-carat gold. The natural version of this will cost around Rs 88 lakh, whereas the lab one will cost you around 12 lakh. He also sported a Van Cleef bracelet as well, which is the Vintage Alhambra Green Malachite Bracelet with 5 motifs, which costs around Rs 5.80 lakh.

Tilak Varma

With a more understated aesthetic, cricketer Tilak Varma, who is often seen sporting diamond studs in both ears, shifted from the trend and was seen wearing a single-ear piercing, which has apparently dominated the cricket fashion industry for decades and has been worn by big names like Virat Kohli and Yuvraj Singh. He wore the princess-cut single diamond earring, which perfectly caught the light during the match.

Arshdeep Singh

Indian cricket team’s fast bowler Arshdeep Singh was seen wearing a sleek Cuban link chain during all the matches, which featured interlocking and flattened links, known for their durability. This allowed the chain to rest securely against his chest while playing, even during his fast delivery and run-ups.

Washington Sundar

The all-rounder of the season, Washington Sundar, leaned towards a more minimal approach like some others on the team and was seen wearing a simple single solitaire stud, which perfectly complemented his neat and understated styling.

As our athletes continue to shape the fashion culture, this era of our stylish cricketers is clearly outshining the mainstream fashion maestro and shining bright, just like the lit trophy they lifted.
