The Bachchan clan stepped out together after ages for Aaradhya’s school event, but Aishwarya Rai’s all-black ethnic look made all the noise
Once a year, the Bachchan clan steps out publicly to support their little princess, Aaradhya Bachchan, during her annual day function at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School. However, this time felt different, as the family made a rare appearance amid divorce rumours concerning Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan.
Putting the marital dispute buzz aside, the family arrived at the event in beautiful style and immediately became the highlight. When Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan, and Amitabh Bachchan reached the venue, the spotlight shifted to Aishwarya, whose all-black ethnic look ultimately became the talk of the town.
Over the past few years, Aishwarya has made it quite clear that anarkalis are definitely her style, and this latest appearance is further proof. She was spotted in a full-length, all-black flared anarkali featuring matching statement buttons, a high neckline, and full sleeves. She accentuated the look with a statement printed black Banarasi dupatta.
The monochrome look instantly went viral, as the black Banarasi dupatta featured statement golden blooming flowers with a matching border, which glittered under the spotlight and added an edge to the ethnic fit. Looking elegant as ever, she draped it simply from the back, giving a regal touch, and left her hair down in her signature mid-parted, straight blow-dry look.
She ditched heavy jewellery and kept things simple with a statement ring. For makeup, Aishwarya opted for an illuminating base, highlighted her eyes with a hint of kohl, winged eyeliner, defined eyebrows, and accentuated cheeks. What truly stood out, however, was her scarlet red lipstick, which instantly brightened her face and balanced the look perfectly.
The family turned up to spend the evening cheering for Aaradhya, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother, Vrinda Rai, was also spotted, making the occasion even more special.
Apart from the Bachchans, several Bollywood celebrities attended the event. From Shah Rukh Khan to Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan to Karan Johar, many A-listers arrived in style to support and cheer for their children on their big day. However, our eyes remained fixed on the ethereal beauty in black, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. So, did you like her ethnic look for the evening, and would you try it this festive season?
