Chappell Roan turns heads in archival Rick Owens at Paris Fashion Week

Chappell Roan didn't just show up to the Fall/Winter 2026 Paris Fashion Week—she completely owned her moment. While attending the highly anticipated Rick Owens runway show, the singer skipped the traditional route of wearing a brand-new, freshly released garment.

Instead, she dug deep into fashion history. By choosing a rare, archival piece directly from the designer's past catalogs, Roan stood out from the crowd of newly minted runway looks. It was a highly intentional choice that proved older fashion can still steal the spotlight. She fully committed to a very specific theme for the afternoon, stepping out in an outfit that completely transformed her into a fierce, ancient warrior.

The Sculptural Lavender Gown
The absolute star of her look was a brilliantly constructed gown in a soft, muted lavender.
