Cream of the crop

From Timothée Chalamet's rule breaking backless jumpsuit to Cate Blanchett's Schiaparelli ensemble, here are some standout looks from the 79th installment of the Venice Film Festival.

2/6

Tessa Thompson

Tessa Thompson is hands down the undisputed queen of the Venice Film Festival with her outfit choices. After wowing in a red Elie Saab ensemble, she turned heads in a neon dress from Christopher John Rogers and in the end this Armani Prive ensemble that just too good to be true.

3/6

Timothee Chalamet

Timothee sent the shutterbugs into a clicking frenzy upon her red carpet arrival in a backless Haider Ackermann outfit. The electric red ensemble was ground breaking and we couldn't stop adoring Timmy for rocking this look with so much nonchalance.

4/6

Cate Blanchett

Cate Blanchett puts her most stylish foot forward in a black velvet corset and low-waisted trousers with handpainted flowers in organza, molded leather and crepe paper from Schiaparelli.

5/6

Jodie Turner-Smith

Jodie looked stunning in a Christopher John Rogers which featured an elaborate train. She also wore a glittery gown with a plunging neckline from Gucci.

6/6

Julianne Moore

Julianne exuded elegance in a black Armani Prive gown with a plunging neckline. For her second look, she wore a shimmery Valentino gown with a cape.
