Most stylish Indian cricketer

KL Rahul proved yet again that no one can beat him in the style department and his wedding looks are a proof. The cricketer wore some very unique pieces from various Indian designers for his wedding functions. Be it the chikan and zardozi embroidered kurta from house of Kotwara for his Mehendi and Sangeet to his oversized silk jacket with kantha embroidery from Divyam Mehta, he surely impressed us all as the most stylish groom.

2/5

House of Kotwara for Mehendi and Sangeet

KL Rahul wore House of Kotwara's kurta set for his mehendi and sangeet ceremony. The sage green tussar silk kurta was hand embroidered in a unique blend of both Chikan and Zardozi embroideries. The judicious use of French knots added a rich 3-dimensional texture to the otherwise subtle monochromatic look. Paired with slim linen pants of the same colour, the ensemble easily straddled both a modern and traditional look. For the evening sangeet KL Rahul wore a sage green handwoven matka silk waistcoat embellished with hand embroidery in monochromatic hues and hand stitched to give a limp fall taking on the contours of the body. Paired with the same tone tussar silk chikan embroidered kurta, the ensemble easily took on the traditional look most befitting the modern man today.

3/5

Divyam Mehta for reception

For the reception look, KL Rahul opted for a classy yet trendy look. He wore a navy blue coloured silk blazer with kantha work from designer Divyam Mehta. The look had an Indian vibe and yet very modern in appeal.

4/5

Anamika Khanna for the D-day

His ivory sherwani from Anamika Khanna featured chikankari and jaali floral embroidery all over. He teamed it up with Aligari pants. A look every groom would like to emulate, KL Rahul made a case for classic groom attire.

5/5

Anamika Khanna for Haldi

For his Haldi, KL Rahul picked an embroidered kurta from Anamika Khanna and paired it with Aligari pants. This beautiful kurta was later torn off by his friend Rahul Sawhney as a part of the ritual.
