A love story turns into forever

Prajakta Koli, the beloved star of 'Mismatched', is all set to marry her long-time partner, Vrishank Khanal, on February 25, 2025. The couple, who have been together for a while, are finally taking the leap into a lifelong journey of togetherness. Prajakta has shared beautiful moments from her pre-wedding celebrations, leaving her fans in awe. Last evening, we witnessed the grand culmination of their love story, and the first official wedding photos have us spellbound.

The customised ensembles

For her special day, Prajakta chose a stunning outfit designed by Anita Dongre, known for her exquisite bridal creations. Prajakta’s wedding attire was a heartwarming tribute to her roots, as she wore her mother’s repurposed wedding dress. The ensemble featured a soft beige hue, with intricate fish scale embellishments on the choli and skirt, paired with delicate green-toned tree embroidery that added an ethereal touch. Two dupattas completed her bridal look—one draped over her shoulder and the other gracefully pinned over her head.

To accessorize, Prajakta went all out with statement jewellery, a bold choker, matching earrings, a maang tikka, pink kaleeras, and kadas. Her makeup was soft and glowing, with blush tones that complemented her natural beauty. With her hair left open and a traditional bindi adding the final flourish, Prajakta looked like she had stepped out of a fairytale.

Vrishank Khanal’s regal look

On the other side, the groom, Vrishank Khanal, radiated elegance in an ivory-toned sherwani designed in an open-jacket style. The piece was meticulously embroidered with tree motifs, harmonizing perfectly with Prajakta’s outfit. He completed his look with a matching pagdi and doshala, giving him a royal appearance. To add a modern touch, Vrishank paired his traditional look with a stylish set of sunglasses and a men's haar, giving his outfit a contemporary edge.

The chemistry between the bride and groom was undeniable, as they beamed with joy on their wedding day, ready to start their new chapter together.

Repurposing traditions: Prajakta’s special wish

In a beautiful nod to family traditions, Prajakta decided to repurpose her mother’s wedding attire for her big day. A report by HT revealed that this custom-made ensemble was more than just a wedding dress, it was a sentimental piece that carried the legacy of her mother's wedding, adding an extra layer of meaning to Prajakta's journey into married life.

Additionally, Prajakta had a unique wish for her wedding ceremony. According to Pinkvilla, she expressed a desire to have a female pandit perform the wedding rituals. Respecting her request, a female pandit was chosen to lead the ceremony, making this a truly special and personalized experience for the bride and groom.

A fairytale setting

Prajakta and Vrishank chose Oleander Farms in Karjat as the setting for their wedding, a picturesque venue that perfectly matched the romantic and dreamy atmosphere of their celebrations. With nature’s beauty as their backdrop, the couple’s vows were exchanged in an intimate and stunning setting, making it a day to remember.
