Teachers Day 2025: Quotes that best describe the teacher-student relationship
One of the most sacred relationships in the world is that between a teacher and a student. The former holds the key to knowledge and supports curious minds to achieve their dreams, while the latter works hard towards gaining that knowledge and putting it into practice in their day to day life.
While parents are a child's first teacher, providing them with important life lessons, a teacher or a guru is someone who prepares them for a competitive future. When we're growing up, our parents and teachers play an important role in shaping our minds and directing us towards a brighter path. Apart from giving us an academic education, they also teach us ways to fight our fear, to always stand for what's right and to never doubt one's capabilities.
That being said, in honour of all the teachers, including our parents, who have always supported us in our endeavours and have remained the guiding light in our lives, we celebrate Teachers Day every year on 5th September, which also marks Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birth anniversary.
In light of this wonderful occasion, here are some wonderful quotes you can share with your teachers that best describes a guru-shishya bond.
