5 SHOCKINGLY beautiful make-up looks from Met Gala 2019

The Met Gala, an annual fundraising gala for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute in New York City held its latest instalment and as expected, it was a star studded affair. While Indian stars, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra stole the limelight for dressing to the nines for the pink carpet (yes, this time around they skipped the red carpet), but some international celebrities like Gigi Hadid and Lady GaGa, walked away with cake for their whacky beauty looks. Here's a look at five looks that caught our attention.

Not only was her outfit completely outlandish, Lady Gaga's make-up was truly out of this world too. The lady, who changed into four back to back looks for the pink carpet, was given gilded foil spikes on her eyes for that dramatic look by ace make-up artist, Sarah Tanno. Also spotted, were false lashes, a very dramatic black-and-white winged liner and hot pink lipstick.

Supermodel Gigi Hadid stunned in a custom made white, silver and gold catsuit with a feathered coat and an interesting headpiece by American fashion designer Michael Kors. But what truly hit headlines was her beauty look by Erin Parsons - long silver eyelashes that gave the diva a dramatic look and a nude lip colour.

American actor and singer, Ezra Miller grabbed all the eyeballs, not once but four times, thanks to the shocking optical illusion on his face. The actor added more drama to the look with a retro bobbed wig and hot red lipstick. Creepy, eh?

If you still remember Kristen Stewart as the dainty beauty from Twilight, you will be in for a shock once you see her latest Met Gala look. The stunner went for yellow eyebrows - a first by someone her stature and she reminded us of the pop stars of 90s. Also spotted on her were very interesting coral hued hair. Last but not the least, Priyanka truly rocked the pink carpet with her bang on interpretation of the Camp theme. While her outfit was a complete show stealer, her make-up - white frosted brows, lashes and raspberry lips and eye shadow were to die for.
