From brightening masks to overnight treatments!

Your skin deserves all the love and care it can get and you don’t always need fancy products to achieve that healthy, luminous glow. Sometimes, the best skincare secrets are sitting right in your kitchen. Aloe vera, honey, and curd, this magical trio, can work wonders for your skin. From hydrating and soothing to brightening and repairing, these ingredients are perfect for a quick glow-up before the Diwali season. Here are five simple DIY hacks to get started.

2/6

The triple glow face mask

Blend the richness of aloe vera, honey, and curd until they leave you with a creamy and smooth texture. Apply this evenly on your face and neck, and keep it for 20 minutes. This face pack will hydrate and give you a nourished base in just one step. This pack can also reduce redness and puffiness, exfoliate dead skin cells, and hydrate parched skin. Other than that, if you’re dealing with a tanned base, then this is your holy grail.

Honey aloe vera spot treatment

We all hate the acne spots that leave permanent scars on our faces, with dry patches that do not easily leave our faces. But when you apply this spot-treating mixture, it will surely reduce it to some extent. You just need to simply take a small pea-sized amount of fresh aloe vera gel and mix it with a few drops of raw honey. Next, simply dab them onto your skin, mainly on the affected area, which will promote healing and skin regeneration. It provides a faster way to fade away the scars and stop inflammation and breakouts as well.

Curd-honey scrub for exfoliation

If your skin is feeling dull and rough, then start your day with a curd and honey mixture with finely ground oats or rice flour. This mixture should be slightly grainy but creamy enough to spread easily all over the face. Gently massage it onto the skin in circular motions for 3 minutes, which will remove dead skin cells, unclog pores, and stimulate blood circulation. Blessing you with a radiant complexion, simply rinse your face with lukewarm water, pat your skin dry, and get that refreshed feeling.

The under-eye treatment

Under-eye plays a huge role in the way you look and is not good manners. It makes you look tired at all times. Simply apply some aloe vera with rose water and a hint of honey, which will reduce puffiness and brighten the dark circles in the skin. You can also add curd, and using your fingertip or a cotton pad, gently apply this under your eyes. Leave it for 10 minutes and stay refreshed, hydrated, and visibly brighter.

The overnight glow cream

This overnight aloe vera and honey glow cream will repair, nourish, and wake up your skin with a natural radiance. Just take a small amount of aloe vera gel with a few drops of honey and convert it into a paste. Cleanse your face at night and gently massage this mixture onto your skin in circular motions. Allow it to absorb as you sleep, and let it hydrate, repair, and brighten your complexion.
