HYDERABAD:
Telangana high court on Monday declined to pass interim orders in a petition challenging the appointment of B Shivadhar Reddy as DGP (HoPF), after the state govt informed that the process to appoint a full-time DGP is underway.
Advocate general A Sudarshan Reddy made the submission before Justice B Vijaysen Reddy. The court was hearing a petition filed by T Dhanagopal Rao, who contended that Shivadhar Reddy’s appointment violated Supreme Court guidelines and sought its quashing along with a direction to appoint a full-time DGP.
The court adjourned the matter to April 27.
