Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava's ‘sangeet’ ceremony

Karan Patel and Ankita Bhargava will exchange wedding vows on May 3, 2015, in a lavish ceremony. An equally extravagant sangeet ceremony was organised for the couple. The ceremony saw telly stars in full attendance. Karan looked dapper in a blue jodhpuri-western suit and Ankita looked stunning in an orange and turquoise lehenga. She chose to go with the minimal make-up look and yet looked ravishing.

Krystle D’Souza, who is a close friend of the couple, in a quick chat with Bollywooduncut.com, was quoted as saying that she is really excited for the couple. She said that she knew them personally, even before they knew each other, and thus is even more excited for their wedding. She further added that she would want to give them a tight jhappi and congratulate them on their wedding. Krystle looked stunning in a cream and baby pink Anarkali suit.

Karan Patel and Ankita looked adorable together. Karan and Ankita also spoke to the media and shared their happiness. Karan refused to let go off Ankita's hands during the entire press meet. TV stars like Anita Hassandani, Divyanka Tripathi, Karan Tacker were also present at the event. Not only did they enjoy themselves at the ceremony, but also shared constant updates on their social media pages. Karan and Ankita looked every bit in love.

Divyanka Tripathi, who also shares a close bond with the couple, took to social media to share her happiness. Divyanka shared a cute picture with Ankita, taken at the event, on her social handle. She wrote, “With the #BrideToBe..My Appa's daughter=My Sister from another father. #Sangeet #MarriageDiaries.” Dressed in an Anarkali suit, Divyanka looked quite elegant.

Karan Patel is currently playing the protagonist in poplar serial, Ye Hai Mohabbatein. He has been paired with Divyanka Tripathi in the show. Ankita performed a special number for Karan while Karan recited a couple of shayaris. The ceremony was organised at Hotel Novotel in Juhu. Karan and Ankita posed happily for the shutterbugs and allowed them to click many candid shots too.
