'Truth is coming out': PM Modi praises 'The Sabarmati Report' film

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday praised the recently-released film The Sabarmati Report saying the truth is coming out which the common people will be able to see.

Reacting on a tweet on the Vikrant Massey starrer film which is based on the events leading up to the Godhra train tragedy in 2002, PM Modi said on X, "Well said. It is good that this truth is coming out, and that too in a way common people can see it. A fake narrative can persist only for a limited period of time. Eventually, the facts will always come out!"

The film, directed by Dheeraj Sarna, delves into the Godhra train burning incident of 2002, which led to widespread unrest in Gujarat.

At the time, PM Modi served as the state’s chief minister, and his name has often been associated with the tragic events that unfolded during the crisis.
