Terror havens of Pakistan

NEW DELHI: Pakistan shares international boundaries with four countries: China, Afghanistan, Iran and India and all have had occasion to complain about terror emanating from its soil.

While Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of harbouring Taliban operatives, Iran charged that the outfit that targeted its Revolutionary Guards in a recent attack was based in Pakistan. China, too, has in the past claimed that Uighur extremists trained in Pakistan had carried out attacks in its troubled Xinjiang region.

India has for long urged Pakistan to uproot terror havens based on its soil and has shared, mostly to no avail, details and locations of these for action by Islamabad.
