CHENNAI: Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad will meet DMK chief M Karunanidhi on Monday morning to finalise seat-sharing agreement for the May 16 Tamil Nadu assembly election.
Speaking to reporters here on Sunday, DMK treasurer M K Stalin said: "Senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad is coming from Delhi, and he will meet Kalaignar [Karunanidhi] tomorrow. Most likely, we expect that we will arrive at a good decision.”
Congress leaders met Karunanidhi at his Gopalapuram residence on March 25, for the first round of talks.

However, the talks were inconclusive.
In the 2011 assembly election, Congress contested 63 seats in alliance with DMK and won five. According to sources, Congress has asked for 63 seats, while DMK is prepared to offer 41 seats.
