NEW DELHI: The
Supreme Court on Friday issued notice to centre and MP governor Ram Naresh Yadav on a plea seeking his removal for allegedly involved in
Vyapam scam.
A bench headed by Chief Justice also sought response from the Centre on framing guidelines on removal of governors on corruption charges.
The petition seeking Yadav's removal was filed after his named cropped up in multi-crore-rupee Vyapam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
The court passed the order on a PIL filed by MP resident pleading the governor is a high constitutional post and the person should be removed immediately after he is found to be involved in some corrupt practice.
