NEW DELHI: Khela Hobe’ roughly translates to ‘the game is on’. In the bitterly fought assembly polls of West Bengal, it is also a political battle cry. Walls across the state are awash with images of TMC supremo and CM Mamata Banerjee with her plastered left leg on a football. Rivals BJP and the Left Front have also twisted and adopted ‘Khela Hobe’ in their own ways.
