ATTARI (AMRITSAR): Pakistani Rangers here offered sweets to the Border Security Force (BSF) today on the occasion of their Independence Day at Attari-Wagah border.
Security personnel of both the sides hugged and shook hands with each other, officials said.
On Wednesday, the BSF will offer traditional Indian sweets to their Pakistani counterparts.
On January 26 this year, the BSF had refused to exchange sweets and greetings with their Pakistani counterparts in the wake of heightened tension between the two nations.
