HC declined Goyal's plea for cash bail to ensure immediate release.
ED had arrested him on Sept 1, 2023. ED counsel Hiten Venegaonkar had opposed his bail plea noting that he is already admitted at a private hospital of his choice and as there was no expert opinion certifying him fit to be discharged, hence bail ought not to be considered at this stage.
