Najma Heptullah resigns, Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi gets charge of minority affairs ministry
NEW DELHI: Union ministers Najma Heptullah and
Babul Supriyo has now been given the charge of the ministry of heavy industries and public enterprises.
Supriyo has been relieved of the charge of minister of state in the ministry of urban development, and minister of state in the ministry of housing and urban poverty alleviation.
The resignations come a week after PM Modi carried out a major expansion and reshuffle of his Cabinet on July 5.
The exercise saw induction of 19 new faces in the ministry and changes in key portfolios of several ministers.

Islam is like HIV. HIV is the virus - it lies dormant for some time. Not everyone with HIV show symptoms of the disease AIDS. That's 'moderate Muslims'. They believe in Islam, the Quran and Muhammad and the Islamic Hell. But they reinterpret Islam in a way to be peaceful and live lives like normal human beings. But there is always the potential that they will get the full-blown disease, get radicalised - a western term which is actually following Islam to the letter. Hate the Infidel - kill them, behead them, cut off their finger-tips etc.Islam has no defence against reason and logic.
