New Delhi: Metro rail services between Delhi University and Kashmere Gate were suspended on Monday morning in view of demonstrations by traders in the area as part of the Delhi bandh.
"We have suspended operations in the stretch from 9:00 am till further orders on the advise of the Delhi Police," a DMRC spokesperson, said.
Traders and BJP workers are also planning to lay seige to the Delhi Assembly on the first day of its Winter Session on Monday to protest against the restart of the sealing drive from November one.
