PATNA: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will be campaigning for the Congress in the third phase of the Bihar assembly elections due on February 23.
The prime minister''s programme would be finalised soon, said Congress leader Wasim Ahmed.
"The dates regarding the prime minister''s visit for campaigning have not yet been fixed, but we expect them any day," Ahmed said, adding that Manmohan Singh would be addressing public meetings.
Congress chief Sonia Gandhi, who canvassed prior to the first phase of voting on February 3, will also be campaigning for the remaining two phases scheduled for February 15 and 23.
Ahmed said Sonia Gandhi will address two election meetings in Madhubani and Katihar districts, which go to the polls on February 15 in the second phase.
The Congress is contesting 80 of Bihar''s 243 seats in tie-ups with Lalu Prasad''s RJD and Ram Vilas Paswan''s Lok Janshakti Party (LJP).
