Mahajan still 'critical but stable'
MUMBAI: The condition of BJP General Secretary Pramod Mahajan continued to be "critical but stable" on Thursday and there was a "very gradual" reduction in medicines to maintain his blood pressure.
"The condition is still critical but stable and very gradually the requirement of drugs for blood pressure support is coming down. The recovery seems to be very slow but the direction is positive," Director (Administration), Hinduja Hospital, Anupam Verma, told reporters.
Mahajan, who was being treated at Hinduja Hospital here after being shot at and critically injured by his brother Praveen on Saturday, continues to be on ventilatory support and dialysis, Verma said.
