J&K police on Sunday unearthed a LeT module and arrested five terrorists involved in the grenade attacks in Doda.
SRINAGAR: Jammu & Kashmir police on Sunday unearthed a Lashkar-e-Taiba module and arrested five terrorists of the outfit, involved in a series of grenade attacks in Doda district for the past three months. Jammu range IGP S P Vaid told reporters that the five terrorists Mohammed Qasim, Javid Ahmad, Mohammed Hussain, Javid Iqbal and Riyaz Ahmed were involved in various grenade attacks in Doda district that claimed two lives and left 69 others injured over a period of three months.
Around 60 terrorists have infiltrated into India from Poonch and Rajouri despite a strict vigil along the Line of Control, the inspector general of police said. However, he said there was a marked decrease in infiltration.
