Jawan shoots two colleagues, attempts suicide in J&K
In yet another case of fratricide, an Army jawan allegedly shot and seriously injured two of his colleagues and attempted suicide at an Army camp in Akhnoor area.
Lance Naik Brijesh Kumar of 510 battalion of Army Service Core late Monday night opened fire at two of his colleagues, sepoys Sajjad Ali and Taman Jay Yadav at an army cam in Akhnoor area of Jammu district.
Kumar later fired at himself in order to commit suicide.
All the three are in a critical condition, the sources said adding senior army officers have rushed them to military hospital.
Army authorities have ordered a Court of Inquiry into the incident, Defence Spokesman Col S D Goswami said.
