SRINAGAR: In an major success, Jammu and Kashmir police on Sunday killed Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Aftab Ansari in south Kashmir.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Range, K Rajendra said that Ansari, a Pakistani national, was shot dead in the higher reaches of Kokernag in Anantnag district.
He termed the killing as "a major success." This comes at a time when JeM has been responsible for carrying out a series of grenade attacks in Srinagar city.
