Since 2011, the Indian Navy has seen over 30 mishaps, the most recent being INS Betwa—the indigenously built 3,850-tonne Brahmaputra-class guided missile frigate—tipping over during undocking. Two sailors were killed in the accident, 14 others were injured and the ship was severely damaged. Given below is a list of 12 major mishaps in the last six years.
