The people of Ganderbal have sent me to Parliament as MP three times, and to Vidhan Sabha as MLA one time. Ishfaq Jabbar became MLA when I handed over the seat to him, if I would have fought the election in 2014, he would not have won. He very well knows this that I vacated the seat because I had promised it to him. But he did not live up to the promise, he deceived the people of Ganderbal. After 2014, all the works were halted, that is why, I am fighting the election from here against them, so that all the works that were halted resume again and a new era of progress start in Ganderbal.
