NEW DELHI: Celebrating the ongoing holiday season with a series of doodles, Google on Wednesday marked the festival of Christmas with decorations and lights.
The word 'Google' is decorated with blinking lights and other Christmas decorations. Wednesday's doodle is Google's fourth in its series of Happy Holidays doodle series.
On Tuesday,
Google Doodle wished people 'Happy Holidays (Day 2)' with an animated 'O' that looks like a snow globe.
Inside the rotating snow globe is a Santa Claus riding his sleigh and there is also a Christmas tree.
In the United States, the holiday season starts from Thanksgiving up until the New Year and is marked by a number of festivals like the Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. The peak of the holiday season is the last week December.
Tuesday's Google doodle outreach was worldwide except some parts of the Eastern hemisphere.
This series of Google Doodle started on December 22 with Google also celebrating the arrival of Winter Solstice with a special doodle.
On December 23, the second doodle in the Holiday series, celebrated the first day of the holiday season with an animated 'O' which looked like candles and christmas tree leaves.
Tuesday's Google Doodle was the third in the series.
