ED seizes Jagat Singh's Mercedes
NEW DELHI: The Enforcement Directorate has seized a Mercedes car claiming that it belonged to former External Affairs Minister Natwar Singh's son Jagat and was purchased from the money allegedly received as kickbacks in the oil-for-food scam.
The luxury car was seized 10 days ago and was in the name of one travel agent identified as Chetan Gupta, ED sources said.

However, they claimed that the vehicle was purchased by Jagat from the money he had allegedly received from the sale of oil coupons from the Saddam Hussain regime and passed on to two persons close to him and his father.
As the ED is all set to issue a showcause notice to various people in connection with the case, this fresh development indicates that money had been traced back to Jagat Singh, which the Pathak inquiry authority, which submitted its report to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Thursday night, could not establish, ED sources said.
