on Thursday and urged the President to direct a floor test in the state assembly.

Amid uncertainty if the ruling AIADMK has the numbers following the rebellion of 19 MLAs belonging to the TTV Dinakaran faction, the delegation comprising DMK, Congress, CPM and CPI submitted a memorandum to President Ram Nath Kovind and sought a floor test. “Each of the 19 MLAs has submitted a letter to the governor withdrawing support. When O Panneerselvam demanded a floor test earlier, the governor called it but it is surprising why he has not taken action in this case,” DMK’s Kanimozhi said after the meeting with the President.
