Read moreIn its short existence of about 12 years, AAP contested several elections and tasted success in a few of them. However, considering the charges of corruption against its top leaders, this election is crucial for AAP, as the outcome may define its politics in the years to come. A victory, even if with a reduced number of seats, will elevate its stature in national politics, while a defeat will deal a huge blow to its popularity.
The AAP leadership definitely had this in mind when they started the campaign much before the announcement of the election and the other two parties stepped on the gas.
