The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) maintained its dominance in both elections, with Jashvantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor emerging victorious in 2019. His victory was significant, securing 561,760 votes and reaffirming the BJP's resonance with the electorate.
In 2014, the BJP's victory was secured by Jasvantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor, who garnered 511,111 votes. His Indian National Congress (INC) counterpart, Taviyad Dr Prabhaben Kishorsinh, trailed behind, reflecting the BJP's dominance in the region.
Fast forward to 2019, Jashvantsinh Sumanbhai Bhabhor's electoral triumph continued, with a notable victory margin of 127,596 votes. Katara Babubhai Khimabhai from the INC stood second with 434,164 votes, indicating the enduring presence of both political parties in the electoral fray.
