Coronavirus: Don't allow home quarantine to Covid patients with comorbidities, says Assam CM

India's daily new Covid-19 cases reported a decline on Friday as the country recorded 1,790 less cases as compared to Thursday. Down from yesterday's 1,34,154 cases, India today reported 1,32,364 fresh Covid-19 cases, taking the country's infection tally to 2,84,41,986, according to the health ministry. The Gautam Gambhir Foundation has been found guilty of unauthorisedly stocking, procuring and distributing Fabiflu medicine to Covid-19 patients, the Delhi high court was informed by the Delhi government's drug controller on Thursday. The drug controller submitted that action will be taken without delay against the foundation, drug dealers as also in other such cases which would be brought to its notice. MLA Praveen Kumar has also been found guilty for similar offences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, the court was informed.
