BJP offering money and positions to entice 10 MLAs: Kamal Nath
BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh chief minister Kamal Nath on Tuesday alleged that the BJP is trying to poach Congress legislators in the state. "At least ten MLAs told me that they are getting calls and are being enticed with offers of money and positions. I can reveal their names also," he said speaking to reporters at the state Congress office on Tuesday afternoon.
"They (BJP) are offering money and talking to the legislators. Let them because I am not concerned about this. I have full faith in Congress MLAs and legislators of other parties supporting the government," the chief minister said. "The BJP is making its statements to keep-up the morale of its workers," he added.
Congress called a meeting of Lok Sabha candidates, sitting MLAs and ministers at the state PCC on Tuesday afternoon.
