After the voting for the nine assembly constituencies of Lucknow concluded, all Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used in the process were locked along with the fate of candidates in strong rooms in Smriti Upvan of Ashiana. District officials said that all the EVMs have been sealed and kept in strong rooms in the presence of observers, candidates and representatives of political parties. These strong rooms will now be opened on March 10 on the counting day.
