RAIPUR: Seventeen
BSF personnel heading out on leave were injured when a truck they had hired overturned in Maoist-hit Kanker district of Chhattisgarh's Bastar on Friday. Four of them are in critical condition.
The jawans, from BSF's 162 Battalion, were deployed on anti-Maoist operations in the district and were posted at Phulpad security camp, around 120km from the district headquarters.
At a sharp curve on Antagarh-Narayanpur route, the truck careened off the road and overturned.
