Memes erupt as CBSE declares Class 10, 12 results

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Friday declared the Class 10 and 12 exam results in which 93.12 per cent and 87.33 per cent of students passed respectively.

Over 3.08 lakh students have scored above 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 exams while over 66,000 secured scores above 95 per cent, the board announced on Friday. The board has scrapped the practice of announcing merit lists and awarding divisions on the basis of marks to discourage unhealthy competition among the students.

For Class 10, girls once again performed better than boys, with a pass percentage of 94.25 per cent compared to boys' 92.27.
