In the recent past, West Indies cricket has gone through several ups and downs. The players and administrators are at loggerheads with each other, and cricket has taken a back seat. West Indian players have a glorious chance at turning their luck around and reviving lost glory by excelling in the most important
T20
tournament of their lives. Yes, the Indian Premeir League (IPL) starts later this month.

Meanwhile, West Indies find themselves in the semi-final of ICC World T20, which is the biggest T20 tournament for them right after the Indian Premier League, Big Bash League, Pakistan Super League, and Caribbean Premier League.
West Indies will be taking part in the semi-final against India with the single agenda of getting some practice for the various T20 leagues they will be participating in throughout the year.
Now, West Indies want to practice hard and emerge victorious in this semi-final at any cost. The team has chalked out a plan for every Indian player, but they have no clue how to overcome
Virat Kohli. That's why captain Darren Sammy has appealed to Kohli to bat left-handed, so that the West Indies team might have some chance at winning.
"We saw what Kohli did against Australia and we don't want him to demolish our bowlers right before the all important IPL. His weak zone is so difficult to find and not even Anushka Sharma could help us find it," Sammy said in a press conference.
"For the possibility of an even contest, we have requested Kohli to bat left-handed. We even gave Kohli the offer that we will allow Rohit Sharma to bat thrice in his place. However, Dhoni did not agree to this and said that even a left-handed Kohli is better than Rohit Sharma on any given day. We are afraid that even while batting left-handed, Kohli is going to smash our bowlers all over the ground," Sammy exclaimed.
