Panaji:
FC Goa have announced that entry will be free for women of all ages, across all stands, for the
Indian Super League (ISL) clash against Sporting Club Delhi at Fatorda on Thursday.
The club said the initiative is designed to kick off International Women’s Day (March 8) celebrations a week early, bringing the community together to honor the women who back the club on a regular basis.
"FC Goa has always been built on the passion of its people, and women have played a huge role in shaping the energy and identity of this club from day one,” said club CEO Ravi Puskur. “This initiative is simply our way of saying thank you and making sure the stadium feels like a space where every woman and girl in Goa feels welcome, comfortable, and celebrated. We hope this match becomes more than just a game, a shared evening where families come together, young girls see themselves as part of football’s future, and Fatorda reflects the inclusive spirit that football in Goa truly stands for."
The clash against Delhi will also have designated entry lanes exclusively for female fans at stadium gates.
