HMD Global has announced that its recently launched Nokia 5.1 Plus online-exclusive smartphone will be now available across retail stores in the country. Also, the company has announced a price cut of Rs 400 for the Nokia 5.1 Plus and will be available in stores at Rs 10,599. HMD Global has announced offers for Airtel customers in the form of data and cashback.
The Nokia 5.1 Plus comes as a successor to the Nokia 5.1 that too made a debut in India few months ago. Like the Nokia 6.1 Plus, this too has a notch on top of the screen and shares some of the specifications but is a less powerful device nonetheless.

The Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone went on sale for the first time in October this year with Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out-of-the-box.On the specifications front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus has a hybrid SIM slot and runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone has a 5.86-inch HD+ (720x1520) display with a notch and 19:9 aspect ratio. Powered by MediaTek Helio P60, it comes in 3GB or 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB expandable storage options. At the back there are two cameras with 13MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture along with a 5MP sensor. Selfie lovers get an 8MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 80.4-degree FoV. The cameras too are AI-enabled to deliver an enhanced photography experience. You get 3,060mAh battery, which is the same as Nokia 6.1 Plus.
