From reform to results: UP Transformation Dialogues to spotlight state’s growth story
The Times of India present UP Transformation Dialogues, to be held on February 13 in Lucknow, will bring together policymakers, institutional leaders, innovators and change-makers to reflect on Uttar Pradesh’s evolving development story. Designed as a high-level platform for ideas and impact, the event will explore how leadership, innovation and inclusion are reshaping Uttar Pradesh’s growth trajectory.
The event will feature a series of focused panels and fireside chats examining the pillars driving UP’s transformation - from institutional reforms and innovation-led growth to healthcare access, youth empowerment, gender equality, rural development and cultural resurgence. Through conversations that blend policy vision with grassroots perspectives, the dialogues aim to decode how Uttar Pradesh is translating ambition into measurable, lasting outcomes, while positioning itself as a key engine of India’s growth story.
Manoj Kumar Singh, CEO, State Transformation Commission, Uttar Pradesh, will deliver a keynote address on how the state is driving large-scale reforms to deliver sustainable and long-term impact.
A fireside chat with Awanish Awasthi, Advisor to the Hon’ble chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, will delve into the role of institutions in driving and sustaining the state’s transformation journey.
The panel discussion featuring Vikram Singh, Former DGP, Uttar Pradesh; Dr Nitin Ramesh Gokarn, Former Chief Secretary, Uttar Pradesh; Maj Gen (Dr) S B Asthana, International strategic and security analyst and Dr Shikha Tripathi, Former DGM , NABARD will explore how innovation at scale across governance, security, finance and development is shaping Uttar Pradesh’s future.
The session with Amit Kumar Ghosh (IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Medical Education Department, Uttar Pradesh; Dr Zakir Adam, Chief, UNICEF Uttar Pradesh; Dr Pinky Jowel (IAS), Mission Director, NHM and Secretary, Medical Health & Family Welfare Department, Uttar Pradesh; and Dr Sanjeev Bagai, Padma Shree Presidential Awardee and Chairman, Nephron Clinics, will focus on strengthening healthcare systems and building a healthier, more capable Uttar Pradesh through policy, partnerships and innovation.
Shravan Kumar Vishakarma CEO, Shankh Airlines, will join for a fireside chat on ‘Sky’s the Limit: Youth & UP’s Infrastructure Economy’.
Actress Shefali Shah will lead a fireside chat on gender equality and social inclusion, tracing the journey from safety and representation to leadership and empowerment.
A discussion featuring actors Faisal Malik, Chandan Roy, Raghubir Yadav and Sunita Rajwar, will shine the spotlight on stories, realities and shifts driving rural transformation in Uttar Pradesh.
The panel with content creators Anmol Dwivedi, Vivek Maurya, Ashutosh Mishra and Shourya Kumar will explore how Uttar Pradesh’s cultural heritage is being reimagined and showcased to global audiences through contemporary storytelling and digital platforms.
