Fitness coach reveals how she lost 22 kgs without gym and eating what she likes
A weight-loss journey often means following a strict diet and an intense workout regimen. But what if you could lose weight without either of them? Well, that’s how Neha Parihar, a weight loss coach shed 22 kgs. She didn’t buy an expensive gym membership or follow any fancy diets. She just ate what her body craved and still lost weight. Of course, each body is different, and there is no one-size-fits-all formula for achieving weight loss, but Parihar’s journey may offer some crucial lessons.
In an Instagram post, the coach outlined four steps that helped her lose 22 kilos at home. She went from 75 to 53. Take a look.
With these simple steps, the coach shed 22 kilos and reached her ideal healthy weight.

Ate more, not less
While most weight loss diets obsess over creating a deficit, the coach said she stopped starving herself and ate what her body needed. Starving is certainly not the way to lose weight. “I stopped starving. Three full meals + one snack, all within a 10-hour window,” she said. She ate balanced meals with protein, fiber, carbohydrates, and probiotics. She also ate rice but practiced portion control.Walked every single day
Most of us underestimate the power of walking. It is one of the simplest forms of exercise, and yet most of us don’t do it. Parihar ensured she walked to burn calories. She didn’t count her steps but walked as much as possible. Most importantly, she walked after lunch and dinner. “No treadmill. No step goal. Just one honest walk—post-dinner or post-lunch every single day,” she revealed. The coach also emphasized the importance of movement throughout the day rather than dedicating 30 minutes a day to a workout. “A 30-minute workout? Great. But sitting for the rest of the day? That’s why you’re stuck. If you’re not walking 8,000+ steps daily, you’re the problem. Move more,” she said.Cheat meals were part of the journey
During a weight loss journey, most people try to completely cut out junk food. And that’s where the body refuses to cooperate. The cravings turn into something worse, and before you realize it, you have munched through a bowl of “healthy” nuts. The coach confessed that she “stopped eating ‘healthy’ 24/7. I ditched the all-or-nothing mindset. 80% clean food, 20% soul food,” she said.Early and light dinners
Parihar kept her dinners light. Most importantly, she ate dinner early. Early dinners are often linked to reduced inflammation, improved insulin sensitivity, a lower risk of diabetes, and fat loss. She ate dinner before 7:30 p.m., which changed the game for her. “Ate light early dinners. Dinner by 7:30 changed everything—my sleep, energy, and belly. Gut rest—fat burn, hormone reset,” she revealed.Note: The information provided in this article is for educational purposes only and is not intended as medical advice.
