Who really lives in heaven: Woman dead for '7 hours' after 60-foot fall makes shocking revelation about afterlife
At 22, Erica Tait fell off the Palisades Cliffs in New Jersey. It was the year 2015 and she was on a daredevil hiking trip alone, without any safety equipment. She ended up falling 60ft while trying to climb down the rockface, breaking not only her spinal cord but also her pelvis, arms, and ribs along with puncturing both lungs.
While she miraculously managed to call for help through her phone, Tait wasn't able to give her location and waited seven hours for rescue. According to her, during those hours she left her physical body and entered a realm where her consciousness no longer existed as an individual anymore. What she had to say about the reality of heaven was shocking.
She said that her near-death experience (NDE) began with a deep sense of peace as her consciousness floated away from the pain and damage on the ground. She instantly understood that the real 'her' was something eternal and separated from her body.
She then went through a life review, where her entire life flashed before her like a movie and she understood how her past traumas and choices had caused harm to herself and others.
"The only person judging it was the most objective version of me. So, there was no outside being telling me you're going to hell or you're going to heaven. It wasn't really that experience," she said in the December 2 interview.
After that, she was pulled into a bright light that she could only describe as God or a universal consciousness. Interestingly, Tait did not meet any specific beings like angels or her deceased relatives. The light itself felt alive and communicated with her directly like a pure unconditional loving presence that knew her completely.
'It was almost like information was being downloaded into my cells, and that was where I learned a lot about our inherent oneness, about how we are actually just this one thing. In this dimension that we call Earth, there's an illusion of separation,' she explained.
She shared that the biggest realisation was that we are truly one being and hurting anyone else would be akin to hurting oneself. She shared that our real purpose on Earth is to remember this oneness and live with love and awareness.
'To awaken, to remember why we're actually here, what we actually are. That's been my sole focus ever since for myself to continue to remember and to continue to awaken to deeper and deeper remembrances of what reality is and to help the collective do the same,' she added.
Previously, numerous other people have had such 'near-death experiences' where they met a being that has been called 'source'. Nanci Danison, a scientist and devout Catholic previously shared with the Daily Mail that the energy source told her human life was an illusion, created so they could learn from observing human experiences.
While every individual's experience remains different what they all return with is a newfound zeal for life and kindness for fellow human beings.
