"Not on my wedding day!": Fake police 'crash' bride's wedding and leave guests dancing
Weddings are huge and entail all those jaw-dropping moments that turn a regular party into pure magic with all the music, dance, drama, and flashy OTT dresses.
But what happens if the celebration is suddenly interrupted by flashing lights, sirens all around, and stern "police officers" storming into the venue, that's where all the panic sets in, hearts race, and then happens the plot twist!
While weddings around the world are centered around cake-cutting ceremonies, a bride flipped the script with a clever prank that it left guests screaming, cheering, and dancing like never before.
According to a New York Post report, singers from the No.1 Singing Waiters, dressed as police officers, burst in looking for Steven, with Robyn yelling, “Not on my wedding day!” Guests panicked - her cousin swore at the “officers,” while others shouted at them to leave. “They were really panicking,” Robyn said, according to the New York Post.
The crowd danced, sang, and waved napkins wildly. Robyn told the New York Post, “When they came in and started singing and dancing, realising it was a joke it just set the atmosphere right off. Everyone was up dancing, having a great time.”
Her cousin's outburst sold it. In the end, “They all loved it, they were saying it was the best surprise. They couldn’t get their heads around it,” she added.

The prank that stopped the party

The 31-year-old from Sunderland planned the gig for months, looping in only her husband Arron and dad Steven.According to a New York Post report, singers from the No.1 Singing Waiters, dressed as police officers, burst in looking for Steven, with Robyn yelling, “Not on my wedding day!” Guests panicked - her cousin swore at the “officers,” while others shouted at them to leave. “They were really panicking,” Robyn said, according to the New York Post.
Panic that turned into party mode
Tension peaked until one "cop" grabbed the mic, asking if everyone was ready to party, then said out loud, “All You Need is Love.” Cheers erupted as Steven James and Gary Hodgson, two in suits, one in uniform, launched a love-song medley.Fake police 'crash' bride's wedding and leave guests dancing (Photos via Carrow weddings/ SWNS)
Robyn wanted something different for her wedding!
Singing waiters felt too common, so Robyn looked to unique drama, “I had seen singing waiters at a lot of people’s weddings, but I wanted something a little bit different,” she explained to the New York Post. Her dad was perfect bait, though he might've forgotten the setup and looked shocked too. It was their UK do after a Vegas wedding, complete with a 10-foot cake, custom magazines, choreographed first dance, and three dress changes for her fairytale vibe.A wedding to remember for a lifetime!
The prank fooled everyone, turning anxiety into delight. “They all said it was out of order for them to turn up on my wedding day. Some of them were going mental,” Robyn laughed to the New York Post. Her cousin's outburst sold it. In the end, “They all loved it, they were saying it was the best surprise. They couldn’t get their heads around it,” she added.
