Chandran Thangaraj, an Indian-origin employee at Charles Schwab, an American multinational financial services company in the US, shared a touching video on Instagram of him giving his mother a tour of his workplace.

Dressed in a traditional saree, she stands proudly outside the modern glass-fronted Charles Schwab office building, beaming with excitement. The clip follows her inside, admiring her son's name on display, grabbing snacks, sipping coffee in the cafeteria, and strolling through the office spaces.


Thangaraj captioned the post simply: “Office tour with Amma.” The video quickly spread across platforms, with an X handle @NewsAlgebraIND calling it “An Indian employee brought mother to the USA and gave her a day of workplace experience”.

Social media pours in emotionally

The post exploded online, racking up thousands of likes and comments, praising the mother-son bond.
